Strands of Breath

Restoring Breath to Pakistan

  • Home

Our mission is to provide life-saving nebulizers to families suffering from respiratory damages caused by smog and pollution.

At Strands of Breath, we will work together as a non-profit organization to support underserved communities in Pakistan.

With your help, we will fund life-saving nebulizers for families in Pakistan, where smog and air pollution affect over 80 million people annually.

About Us

At Strands of Breath, our mission will be to address the unseen struggles caused by air pollution in third-world countries, specifically in Pakistan. With the ongoing crisis of smog and toxic air in Pakistan, we will collaborate with a Pakistani clinic or charitable organization to provide nebulizers to underserved communities. We believe that no matter a person’s status, they should be able to breathe properly — a basic necessity no one should be denied.

Solution

To help is to provide. In collaboration with a local or national healthcare provider or charitable organization in Pakistan, we will work to ensure that nebulizers reach the families most in need. Our approach will not only include distributing nebulizers, but also ensuring healthcare guidance so that the equipment is used safely and effectively.

While we will also work to raise awareness about the broader issue of air pollution, our immediate goal will be to reduce its toll on public health. We will aim to reduce the number of premature deaths and respiratory illnesses, offering relief to millions affected by toxic air.

Our Aid

How we Help

At Strands of Breath, we will fund all our initiatives through partnerships, fundraising events (such as bake sales, cake raffles, party events), merchandise sales, and the generosity of donors like you.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to a Pakistani clinic or charitable organization, who will then use those funds to purchase and distribute nebulizers to underserved, rural, and impoverished communities in Pakistan.

Our Impact

  • $80: Funds one nebulizer with accessories, saving the life of one person.
  • $250: Funds one nebulizer and accessories for a family of four, helping to save four people.
  • $500: Funds nebulizers and equipment for two families, saving eight people altogether.

For every $80 raised, you’re not just providing a nebulizer—you’re giving someone a chance to breathe again. A chance at freedom.

Our Goal

The difference 1000 people-lives have.

We aim to reduce the rural health crisis in Pakistan by providing $40,000 worth of equipment, which will save over 1,000 lives.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us the warmth of support to success.

  • Our Blog

Welcome to the Strands of Breath blog!
In this space, we will share updates on our efforts to combat the harmful effects of air pollution. Expect posts about our milestones, upcoming events and campaigns. We will also feature powerful stories on the impact of air pollution — including personal interviews with those directly affected.

Most importantly, we will provide transparent updates on how many nebulizers we’ve been able to donate (through our clinic or charity partners in Pakistan) and which communities have benefited.

Health Tips & Resources

Written by the CEO of Strandsofbreath, this review-article research is on the effects of air pollution on mainly myocardial infarctions (heart attacks). As this is a review-article research, it is a simplified connection/summarization of different already-done researches to make it simpler for our readers to understand the grave effects. We believe it is extremely important for readers to understand how dangerous air pollution is, not only for our environment, but also for our health.
